Casa Colombaia is in the very heart of Chaintishire in an ideal position to go around for short or long excursions in the nearby or to visit art sites present in the region. 

The house is at about 2 km from the medieval village of San Donato in Poggio and it is the perfect location both for those who want to relax and those who want to experience the region.

Nowadays San Donato is a tiny centre living mainly in summer where it's possible to find high-quality food shops, delicious restaurants, pizza houses, banks, post office, pharmacy.

San Donato was in the past the outpost in the battles between Guelphs and Ghibellines.
